Prettiest cutest little tool. I use it to open those SAK tools that demand a nail sacrifice to get them open. Also doubles as a mini prybar for my needs.

Great help and saves your nails only missed my 5 star rating as it's not got a lanyard hole I may yet drill one myself if I get a brave moment but apart from that it's a great handy bit of kit good value for money tool as are most of the Rough Riders range it's why I love it as do many other life users if you buy Rough Rider you know your getting a great quality product for your shillings really good value tough tools highly recommended boys and girls ☺️

Neat little tool! Much better than on any pictures actually. Well made, thin end might also serve as a screwdriver or a shell extractor. Great!

    Useful tool.

Ideal tool to assist in opening the blades - I have one knife which is extremely difficult to open the blades (easier to remove finger nails) - the tool makes this task easier - cheap too !

    Great

Does exactly what it's designed for, and also useful as a pry bar, and a FH driver in a pinch. Well worth the few quid it costs.

    Great Quality

Nice and solid, if not a little smaller than expected. Not much use for anything to be honest, good for removing staples and tightening flat head screws, but that’s about it. Could probably open a bottle at a push. However, small enough not to intrude, so I’ll carry it often.

    ROUGH RIDER KNIFE OPENER

Posted by Clive on 29th Mar 2021

These things have not been available for some time now & as soon as Heinnie let me know they were back in stock I purchased two of them. My fingernails were destroyed by chemotherapy and I was unable to open knives anymore. It seems with the new stupid law banning locking knives in the UK the manufacturers have made the back springs even stronger to prevent trapping fingers. But now with these little beauties the problem I had has now gone. So to sum up, if you have brittle or weak fingernails these little things are a life saver.
