    Not bad, but....

Posted by Kulu on 1st Oct 2018

I ordered two - the first one I tried does not lock properly. Both knives when closed have the blade resting on one of the spacers, so there is a nick in the blade that can't be got rid of.

    Great value knife

I gave this 5 stars, but thats relative to its price. For the money, I wasnt expecting much, but I have been very pleasantly surprised by the quality and resilience of this little cracker. Takes and holds an edge very well, and was sharp enough to shave with out of the box. Judging from the comments the quality is variable, so I may have got lucky, but if you're prepared to put in a little effort, this knife will repay your minimal investment very quickly.

    Cheap and disposable

This is a similar design to my Whitby Mini Titan which at £10 is a much superior knife.
Not difficult to open but very little metal to push on to unlock, I'll cut the part of the handle off that's in the way with my Dremel.
Bolts not finished flush with the frame.
    Not bad for £4 though.

    Fantastic for EDC

Posted by Angle Scout on 17th Oct 2015

Bought a few knives and this was a last minute spur of the moment addition.
And I am very satisfied with this cracking knife.
I got an Opinel No7 Carbon, Hultafors craftsman Carbon and a Svord Peasant black Carbon and this stainless steel cheapy was the only blade razor sharp out the box, cutting the hairs off my arm. It's only a small blade but now be in my pocket everyday. I simply pulled back onthe frame lock gently until the lock no longer engages but creates a good and safe friction lock to UK legal. Handle is a little small but Its a small knife that drops in my pocket.
Perfect. You must get one of these.

    its ok

I bought two cheap r/riders along with a more expensive item, the knives were bought just to fill a couple of gaps in a display case .
What can i say about this one - well it does what a knife does and thats about it , its not very comfortable in the hand , the grip is all wrong , or maybe its just my large hands.

    Great Small knife

    Posted by Bear1974 on 12th Apr 2015

Good small little folder for every day carry, but this is a frame lock so is illegal to carry in the UK in public, make sure you have a good reason for having it on you. Easy to forget about in your pocket so be careful where you take it, I can easily keep it in my jeans coin pocket and not even notice it.
No play in the blade when in use so good and safe if used responsibly. Great addition to a small survival kit and far superior quality compared to the dodgey knives that you normally get in these kits, my advice bin the sloppy bladed survival kit knife and put one of these in instead. And at this price buy more than one and have backups all over your kit.
The frame lock was a bit stiff when I first got it, but has loosened off a bit and with practice can easily be operated one handed. I have big hands so was concerned that it might be a bit fiddly, but the dimensions seem to be spot on and comfy for a bit of whittling.
Great Knife go ahead and buy a couple
