Too small for serious whittling but it's a nice little knife & sits well alongside the pink Congress - my wife loved it. Well made & worth the £7 paid.
This knife is TINY! , all fours blades are sharp out of the box and for a knife of this size its well put together with everything as it should be . Order it to put on your key ring or as a novelty ,it might be ok for opening letters but not much more in my opinion . Glad i bought it ,i like it , it made smile when i initially opened it up. HH BRILLIANT as always .
How do they make in China ship to America then to me for this price?? how its incredible value and one for my collection as is a bit on small side for EDC I use a sowbelly, good size. Cant fault this littel bu**er though. Thank you Heinnie and Richard for all your help as always. Keep up the good work boys and girls.
For those of us who still think in feet and inches 5cm closed length is 2"! I did read the size and i knew it was a small knife but i was still surprised by how small it is when you get it in hand. I am disappointed that Rough Rider call this a whittler (not Heinnies fault), it is too small to actually use for whittling. As for the knife itself, it is not quite up to the quality i usually expect from Rough Rider. 2 of the 3 straight blades are over ground in the middle (not straight) 3 of the 4 nail nicks are obscured, 1 by the handle scale and 2 by other blades. And the blades are very thin. If you want a knife for whittling this is not for you but if you want a beautiful miniature multi blade pocket knife to add to your collection then you can't beat this at this price.
I stand by my earlier review of this little knife, I don't think it's very good. However, as a result of my review, Richard from Hennie emailed me to ask if I wanted a refund, with HH paying return postage. I hadn't even thought about returning it as it wasn't much money, so was just going to put it down to a poor choice on my part. Fantastic that HH cares so much about service no matter how much an item costs. These guys are the best retailers around, in any sector. Thanks again guys. Mark
Looks quite impressive at first glance, and seems a bargain. Very small with blades that are stiff and hard to open. Small nail nicks, risk of cutting on opening as the blades are sharp as well as being so awkward to open. Wish I hadn't ordered this one. Not a bargain, just a cheap little knife. A Vic Escort is much better quality as a cheap small pocket knife for similar money.
Made its way though the snow to me this morning and yes it will be on a chain soon. I have to commend HH for making it though the weather last week to get orders picked and packed. I have just seen the other review and will stand up for HH as there is no mis representation here what maurice needs to do is read the actual specification before casting blame for his own failings. They clearly state the size so not hiding anything.
this really is no use what-so-ever its so tiny you cant open the smallest 2 blades this is the first time a rough rider knife has been delivered that I'm unhappy with. sorry to say this is a misrepresentation on Heinnie's part due to the photos of this knife looking much, much bigger than it is, very unhappy with this buy.
