Small enough and with enough quality to be a reliable survival kit knife, the Rough Rider Cub is a cracking little blade that will quickly become a favourite. The lock back design means your fingers are safe and the 440 stainless steel blade keeps an edge really well. It is available with either a green or red polished bone handle with both featuring nickel silver bolsters and brass liners.

Compact little knife, well made, sharp , a good addition to my collection
Sharp and pretty and pretty sharp.
As a collector of fine craft and well engineered items my eye was drawn to the Rough Rider CUB series. I have most of them now Beautifully made. Very affordabke Versatile and inconspicuous Incredibly useful EDC
Really pleased with this little knife… feels great in your hand & has a lovely finish on the handle… it’s perfect for small cutting tasks around the house… Exceeds my expectations… very happy with this little cub…
I purchased the green handled version of this knife and I'm really pleased with it. It's a small knife but I can get a good three finger grip on it and the finger groove makes it very comfortable to use. The locking mechanism feels robust and I don't have any worries about it failing during use. The blade isn't centred when closed but in the open position it feels really solid and there's zero play. Overall the finish is good for the price, a little tarnishing in the embossed part of the bolster but for less than 15 quid I think it really looks the part and the flaws are neither glaringly obvious or affect the user experience. Mine came reasonably sharp out of the box and has held its edge despite some use. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good looking inexpensive gift or an inoffensive knife for your drawer at the office
