Item is very robust n very helpful in my daily duties
Lovely knife. Sharp when I opened it. Beautifully made. My first canoe knife and definitely looking at buying more. Good service and arrived in good time. Very happy overall
Excellent build quality with a good spring on the blades.
F&F (Awesome) W&T (Awesome) Blade Rub (None) Blingy Shield (None) Pointless Bolster Pinching (None) Needless Blade Swedging (None) Blade Belly (Real Fat!) Snap (Very Crisp) Handle Colour (SULTRY SEX ON LEGS) All in all the best Canoe RR have ever produced - GO FOR IT!
The Rough Ryder 2297 Canoe is a very traditional looking knife with great looking scales and a nice feel and weight (85gms). There is no gapping on the liners and the blades are nicely centred. There are no rough or sharp edges on the handle which would affect its use as a pocket knife. The blades were well sharp out of the box. The style is both understated and traditional. Both blades have solid half stops, which is something I really like. The full slipjoint lock on both blades is also firm.and you don’t get the feeling that it will close on your hand. The blades are 440A, a high carbon stainless steel with high corrosion resistance and hardness. The scales are G10 and a fantastic style and colour. What’s not to like?
