    Brilliant

    Posted by Dannyreid1978 on 18th Aug 2015

When I was a boy my grandad filled my thoughts with tales of adventure and travel to far off lands from the frontiers of America to the African plains.... When I was 10 he gifted me a pocketknife which I loved and took with on every fishing trip I went on, and used with every treehouse or den I built...unfortunately my grandad sadly passed without knowing how much he inspired my own journeys and travels and also sadly I lost my boyhood penknife some while ago. Until I saw this which is nearly the same one! Hopefully grandads watching and knows how happy I am to have my pocket companion back! Absolutely brilliant service as always from HH thank you once again! 5 stars all the way!!!

    Superb !!

Posted by CJ on 11th Jun 2015

I am a long term (40 years) collector of pocket knives specialising in multi-bladed knives, and have 200 Victorinox and 100 plus other well known makes. Was very reluctant to order a China made knife as I remember the awful Swiss knife copies made in China in the 80s/90s. Wow, ordered this knife at 4pm, got it delivered at 11 the next morning, and completely knocked out by the build quality and feel of this beauty !! Promptly ordered more RR today ! Now I know how Santa gets to all the children in one night.....he uses HH to deliver !!!!

    Excellent Knife

As usual the HH service is second to none. The knife exceeded my expectations in every way. Solid and well made. A bargain at twice the price.

    Outstanding Quality

compared to other camp knives it is built like a tank, all the blades are much thicker than anything else i have seen, the fit and finish is second to none. i love the can opener no other modern knife has this type of design that i am aware of treat it right and it will be passed down through the family and of course if cam with the normal heinnnie haynes super fast delivery

    Awesome

Posted by Chumpanzie on 27th Feb 2015

A great old school camping knife for modern times. Fantastic honeyed real bone scales, fantastc stainless steel and brass. Super sharp heavy duty main blade. Bottle opener, can opener, very sharp unique looking marlin spike, As usual great service from Heinnie and a great product from Rough Rider. Exciting to receive, open and use. Apparently the can opener on this knife is very similar to the can opener on, no less than, Isambard Kingdom Brunels pocket knife, a nice nod to history there and surely a great advert for the effectiveness of said blade. A well made , useful and handsome knife.

    Excellent value

Posted by Jonesy on 18th Jan 2015

This is a solid, practical little knife. For the cost you have to ask how they can sell it for what they do. Yes it's not a SAK but its a solid little knife with a range of practical blades/tools. Looks well put together and capable of being long lived in use, but the main blade does rub slightly on the adjacent blade but everything else is fine. Solid back springs all round. A bargain at this price.

    Really nice knife

Posted by Jack on 13th Sep 2014

A nice well made knife. I like the thick blades, but the back springs will take some bedding in. The knife is quite hard to open but I'm sure it'll get easier. Well worth the money Thank you HH for the usual speedy service

    Nice with few caveats

Posted by John on 10th Feb 2013

Quite a substantial knife and a little on the heavy side for a scout. Saying that the quality of the knife I received was superb with nicely fitted scales and a nice back spring which was strong but not too strong. The main blade was sharp and as others have noted a little on the thick side (2mm on the back). The can opener is of a design I have not seen before and is basically a short, thick, blunt blade with a knurled to rest on the can lip. The awl has a sharp point with sharpish edges nowhere near as sharp as a SAK awl. The final blade is a screwdriver/bottle opener combo. All in a substantial knife for the price and very good quality for the money.

    Good value knife

Posted by Jack on 14th Dec 2012

Nice looking bone scales and overall fit and finish. The "can opener" is actually a bottle opener, and the "small blade" (bit of a nail-breaker) is actually a can-opener, and a pretty awful (if classic) design. The main blade had a bit of a wire edge, but only took a few minutes to put that right, it's also a bit 'spongey' in terms of lock-up. All in all, not a bad alternative to a SAK, but the product description isn't good.
