The Barlow is one of the oldest folding knife designs. It has a simple and practical form perfectly suited to ride along in your pocket. The Rough Rider Classic Cinnamon Bone Stag Series features carbon steel blades with match strike pulls and a mirror polish. The Barlow's blade is non-locking and under three inches long so is classed as UK friendly carry. The handles are cinnamon bone stag with brass and black synthetic liners, nickel silver pins, and nickel silver bolsters.

After a couple of weeks carry & a lot of light use still sharp patina building on blade back where you pinch it & on bolsters.value for money but I will be sticking to stainless blades & bolster in future
My thoughts upon the two Rough Ryder Cinnamon Bone Stag Single Bladed Barlow Pocket Knife I recieved lunchtime. This will be a combo review for both knives. No.1 & 2 Blades well centred and no blade rub. Mirror finished 440C Carbon Steel. Nail nicks easy accessed. Very UK friendly 2 1/2 inch cutting edge. The grind is a halow and really nice swedging. Comes oiled in waxed paper. Pinched nickel silver bolsters & pins with brass liners with G10 innerliners no Ryder "R" stamp upon the knife. NO burrs internally so no danger of causing the dredded blade rub. Scales are of Cattle bone worked & dyed to give the natural appearance of stag. My brace are very nice and dark. Pulls about a four no nail breaker with a half stop with no blade wobble Great walk & talk. Remember not to worry the reason for gentler pull is due to having only one back spring as the two bladed version have a pair of springs. I cleaned out factory grinding & polishing residue from both Barlows as is advisable to make them to total perfect. Then reapplied a good liberal coat of WD40 and we are good to go an pop one in a slip. Feels great in the hand and is slimmer then the regular two bladed Barlows. All in all I'll give them a great 10/10 for quality and style and price point If this is future of Rough Ryder let them all come like these lol god help our wallets. Regarding HH 100% perfect in having diverse stock and their P&P is top of the line fast dispatch & delivery. Truelly Nice Customer service fine Folks. Kindest regards William.
Lovely pocket knife, must have if you like Barlows-I have a genuine stag handled Barlow by Case, the Rough Ryder looks nearly as good for a fraction of the price! Superb service from HH as usual.
