The RoseCraft Blades Nolichucky Jack Vintage Jigged Bone is a standard jack pattern inspired by a very old I-X-L pattern and an alternative the Dapper Jigged Bone (that sold out incredibly quickly, be warned). This one-bladed slip joint features a 7.6cm (3″) D2 spear point blade with heavy swedging, a half stop, and a brushed satin finish. The covers are Vintage Moss Brown (like the original) and hand-jigged Vintage Jigged Bone, with brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, nickel silver pins, and the stainless steel RoseBud shield. Designed by Andy Armstrong.
The jigging on RoseCraft traditional slip joint knives is hand-jigged one by one by RoseCraft craftsmen.
Bone is a natural handle material that varies in texture, pattern, and natural colouring. Every bone handled knife will look different, because bone isn’t identical. RoseCraft don’t use dye to cover up what is the natural beauty of the bone in the handle. They use it to accentuate that natural beauty, and this may cause lighter or darker areas where the bone is hafted into the front bolster. This is part of what makes your knife unique. Quality knife which is beautifully made. Sharp out of the box, blade perfectly centered and the colour of the bone really is aesthetically pleasing. The HH advert stated that previous Nolichucky knives sold out rapidly so I'm very pleased to pick this one up as it did indeed sell out very quickly afterwards.
