The Rockstead Ren represents a development in the design aesthetics of the Rockstead brand. Featuring a sculpted Carbon Fibre and Titanium handle it pushes the manipulation of the materials to its limits.
In the blade, too, the ZDP189 powder steel is miraculously formed into a tanto shape with a convex grind. This is a difficult feat to pull off with a standard steel but with a material with a Rockwell hardness of 67.1 it is a significant achievement. Even more impressive is the fact that it was polished and formed by hand! The result is a hair splitting razor sharp blade that will not need sharpening in the users lifetime.
