The blade of the Rockstead Higo is convex on both sides in the tradition of the highly regarded, famous Japanese sword. This shape is both sharp and strong, and can still slice through paper even after heavy duty work such as 1000 cuts of rope. Blade steel and edge technology has never been so advanced.
The blade is ZDP189 stainless steel and once formed into it's formidable shape, is then polished by hand using just polish and denim until the bottom half of the blade is like a mirror. The handle features a SUS420j2 stainless steel frame with Ironwood scales.
