I bought this despite reading negative reviews and I’m so glad I did. Decent steel, light weight and well made at a really good price. I agree the open detent isn’t strong but unless you are using it with a fire striker it’s not an issue. Great knife and the usual spot on service from Heinnie.
A beautiful knife to look at, but it is not safe to use as it doesn't like to stay open, and closes at the slightest touch.
Oh not another Luna I thought, but wow its the flipper one, so discreet and so dinky but very effective in deployment. It makes a great EDC

This is a prime example of a poor adaptation to the UK market. It has a lovely flipper mechanism- smooth and light. However, the retention mechanism is not up the the task. It's very light, hardly clips in at all, the blade is far too easy to close. The knife has no useful choil at all to help out, it's no UKPK. You need an absolute death grip to keep it open, especially if you enjoy keeping your fingers. Being Real Steel, the build quality is beyond reproach for the cost. It's well-centred, cleanly machined, blade nicely finished. In another country than the UK, this knife would have a lock to make it safe, most likely. It's just a shame that Real Steel phoned in this variation. It would have required a serious redesign and re-tooling to make it safe and pleasant to use. Very much not recommended. Avoid.
