These Real Steel Heinnie® collaborations celebrate Heinnie Haynes' 25th birthday. There are four to collect, each one named after the location of the business at different periods in the Heinnie® story!
They are all UK legal carry, having a non-locking blade under three inches long. Simple in design yet highly effective in use they will be equally at home in a tough working environment sitting in your pocket or on your wall in a frame!
The Real Steel Windmill is all about growth and multi-function. It was a time when Heinnie® moved to the Windmill Industrial Estate in Barry, near Cardiff, opened a showroom and expanded to sell flashlights, bags, clothing, watches etc. etc. It is an exciting knife to reflect exciting times.
It features the endlessly functional Sheepsfoot blade and a tough pair of scissors and, like the others knives in the series, features the Heinnie® 'H' cut out of the handle and engraved onto the blade. Each one has it's own individual number (sorry you can't choose which number you have!) and has a pocket clip and lanyard hole to accessorise as you wish.

Early days yet but I love this knife so far. Reason for purchasing this particular variant was the Sheepsfoot blade shape and the addition of scissors., all of which have a quality feel about them. Blade is razor sharp 8Cr14Mov and the scissors are strongly sprung with no slop in them. Main uses for me have been around the garden and fishing so far, the scissors dealing with fine braid and Monofil no problem. The addition of a pocket clip and the fact that it is Non-Locking 'UK Friendly' (locking mechanism very strong) is also a bonus. Now firmly part of my E.D.C for work as well. Usual speedy delivery from HH and a nice price too.
First off let me say i was not expecting to much from this knife ? I thought well if HH put their name on it then its probably going to be sound , for the price ! Well i gave this 5 * as its great for the price and its great to use also ! I wasnot sure about the blade but its fine for edc tasks , bigger than expected with nice belly and taper , it was also very sharp out the little black box too ! Yes the grind was a little off but miner . Spring tension is good Scissors are included on windmill model only which i think needs to be offered only all four models , im sure they probably will in future? They cut well and feel good quality. The design is very much like the Victorinox swiss tool x scissors on the pivot system used ? Fit and finish is very good for £18.95 and i have been impressed with the Real Steel brand before on HH exclusive models ! The windmill is a highly recommend model for anybody who just wants a good blade and a pair of scissors as handy edc items and i nearly forgot the low carry reversible pocket clip , tip up only . Well done to HH for these four knives . Service again sharp fromm HH even in the new year post .
I love a good sheepsfoot. This is a great sheepsfoot. I have to say that this ticks a lot of boxes for me. The blade is a great size, nice grind and sharp from the box. It’s good steel obviously. The scissors are very good too. My benchmark are the Victorinox scissors found on their products. I often find scissors, even the fiskars ones pretty useless but these are big, sharp and cut well with a strong spring. The Mercator style stamped steel handle is slim, a good hand fit and nicely made. Fit and finish are very good and the back spring strong and positive. I dislike pocket clips so always remove them so won’t comment on this. Superb value for money and will last for years. Likely to become my favourite EDC.
Very nice knife for the price uk legal. Nice and sharp. This was a gift off my son Would be a good buy
