These Real Steel Heinnie® collaborations celebrate Heinnie Haynes' 25th birthday. There are four to collect, each one named after the location of the business at different periods in the Heinnie® story!
They are all UK legal carry, having a non-locking blade under three inches long. Simple in design yet highly effective in use they will be equally at home in a tough working environment sitting in your pocket or on your wall in a frame!
The Real Steel Atlantic brings the story bang up to date and refers to Heinnie's current HQ at the Atlantic Gate Estate in Barry, near Cardiff. This knife has a spear point blade and, like the others, features the Heinnie® 'H' cut out of the handle and engraved onto the blade. Each one has it's own individual number (sorry you can't choose which number you have!) and has a pocket clip and lanyard hole to accessorise as you wish.

Add to BasketAs an EDC pocket knife that is UK legal this is just about perfect. The blade is sharp. The pocket clip works well. The knife is very thin and unobtrusive. It fits nicely in the watch pocket of my jeans whilst not interfering with my mobile phone in the pocket below. This is now taking the place of the multi-colour I was carrying on my belt every day. Much easier !

At the price, you can't lose. A nice looking knife, sturdy and well built. Very sharp when delivered, it's lightweight - an ideal pocket knife in the true sense of the word. Should last years.
Sometimes when a simple thing is done right it's a beauty in it's own right. This is one of those times. Just a lovely unpretentious little work knife at a very reasonable price. Get one!

As soon as I saw this come up I knew I was going to click on it. It looked a bargain and I was not wrong. Despatched with the usual HH efficiency I only had to wait for the pickup point to open and it was mine. First impressions of the stamped steel handle is decidedly utilitarian, being made of the sort of grainy stainless steel that holds the inside of your washing machine together. It is smooth and well finished however and the rivets and bolts are high quality. The H logo stamped through both sides is a nice signature touch and is similarly well finished. Because of the material choice the handle is slim but sturdy and feels well weighted unlike some of this type that can seem a little too slender and flexible (I'm looking at you, Brass Boker Atlas!) As soon as you open the smooth action you can see where the bulk of the extremely reasonable purchase price has gone. A solid piece of 8Cr14MoV well crafted by Real Steel clicks firmly into place. Again the finish is excellent with the H logo serial No. and steel grade printed on it . Overall it manages to be well weighted, solid yet slim and unobtrusive tucked securely with the sturdy spring clip into a trouser pocket. A super sharp blade of decent thickness all for under £16. There are more elegant pieces for stepping out with but you'll need to spend a lot more, My new favourite EDC.
Very reminiscent of the Douk Douk and Mercator knives. I could live without the clip (seems obligatory on knives these days) but it is well designed.. The fit and finish is top notch. In fact, the only thing detracting from 5 stars is the unnecessary H stamped through the handles. Otherwise an excellent competitor for the Victorinox Alox Solo. Service from Heinnie was exemplary as usual. A great little knife for the money..

I bought this to replace a Boker Plus Atlas (stainless finish) which I lost, as the two knives are almost identical. A couple of days later the Atlas turned up! So now I have two nice lightweight handy EDC knives. The only suggestion I would make regarding the Heinnie Atlantic is that the classic 'H' cut-out might be better as an engraving, as the edges of the cut-out are a bit sharp. I've put some clear tape over mine.
