The Reactive Lighting takes convenience to the next level. Its light sensor auto-adjusts the brightness and beam pattern, not only conserving battery but also reducing the need for manual operation. Expect a minimum of 5 hours of burn time in this mode on the STANDARD level, making it ideal for prolonged activities like trail running. Plus, there's a red light at the back, which can be set to continuous or strobe mode, easily controlled with a separate button.
From an ergonomic perspective, the Nao RL is unparalleled. Its battery pack is smartly positioned at the rear, ensuring a balanced weight distribution across the head for optimal comfort. It's tailored to fit, with a thin, flexible front plate that adapts to the user's individual head shape, a quick rear adjustment feature, and an additional top strap for supreme support. The included Lithium-Ion 3,200 mAh battery can be recharged via a type C USB port. And for those ultra-long trail runs, you can carry a spare R1 battery (not supplied) or simply replace it once it runs out. This spare battery can also double as a charger for devices like phones or watches. You'll always be in the know about your battery life thanks to a five-level charge indicator.
For added convenience, there's a lock function to prevent accidental activation during transit, or to secure your lighting preferences during use.
