The NEXTORCH UL10 is a lightweight and compact hands free lighting solution with 65 lumens of brightness. Equipped with the detachable clamp, the UL10 can be mounted virtually anywhere, baseball caps, shoulder straps,pocket edges,webbing gears, belts and so on, anywhere you can think of. In the short time I owned this I found it a useful, and good value, piece of kit. I had it attached to the shoulder strap webbing on my day pack. The low level mode throws enough light to navigate your immediate surroundings while preserving power, while the high mode throws plenty of light when you need it. The SOS flasher is, of course, a nice feature on any lamp. However, be aware that the clip seems intended to grip on to a baseball cap and doesn't grip tightly enough to stay in place on webbing, with a tendency to slip off of your pack at inopportune moments. Consequently, mine is now lost somewhere in the wilderness. Good for hats, less so for packs, in my opinion.
I bought this three years ago. It has been in my pocket ever since, and used for scores of night fishing trips. The different light settings are useful, although the low light setting should be first in the cycle I think. It has survived very heavy rain, and clips onto cap peaks and pockets with real tenacity. I am writing this because I looked on here to buy another for my son, and it seemed unfair not to do so, as I have had many headtorches fail. For £9.95 this is a steal.
I keep this clipped to the shoulder strap of my pack, useful bit of kit.
Very well made. Does what it says on the tin. Seems to be very well designed. and its under a tenner. Reckon its going to be a must have classic, so stop faffing around and order one. Before the price gors up.
