Very Good Spotlight, with a few niggles
The white and red flood beams both give a bright and even circle of light. The spotlight beam angle is nice and tight, producing a bright light which reaches everything around my home. I haven't been out to a rural area yet to see how far the beam will go. What the instructions do not make clear is that the 2 batteries are contained in a proprietary pack, so cannot be swapped for standard cells. As far as I can tell, Nebo do not currently provide replacement battery packs - this will be an issue in the future. The lanyard attaches to the spotlight with a very thin cord such as you find on ID card lanyards. I would not want to rely on that for secure carry. Similarly, the belt clip does not grip a belt but just hooks over the top edge of a belt - I will be using a carabiner and d-ring belt loop. Having said that, the spotlight is ruggedly built, comfortable to hold and can be operated with one hand.
