    Kitchen knife for camping

Posted by WBE on 5th Aug 2025

Very pleased with this knife so far. I wanted something with a thinner blade so it would slice rather than split vegetables. This is exactly as described - a kitchen knife for camping. The shape, and it being utility rather than chefs knife size, should also make it a bit less intimidating if you are on a campsite. Granted, it costs lot more than the Mora Companion that I already had. But if you are happy to splurge, it's worth it.

    Not just for outdoors

Posted by Matthew on 11th Feb 2025

This is a super versatile cooking knife and lives in my kitchen when it's not in a camping bag. Came fairly sharp but was very easy to give a razor edge, great control from the deep blade which is also good for keeping grubby hands away from the food you're preparing. Good ergonomics and nicely weighted. Only small downside is the strap with the popper on the sheath was excessively tight, so much so I almost couldn't get it on with the knife in place.. but I did, oiled the leather and let it stretch for a few days. Now it's still fairly tight but in a secure sense. Would definitely recommend this knife and will probably grab another as a present for my bro.
