Mora knives are cheap to buy yet tough in use. They use a tough plastic handle and sheath but really punch above their weight where steel is concerned.

Awesome, Epic, Unbelievable for the money.

Posted by Valhalla on 13th Jun 2016

I have had one of these for 13 years. I retired it as a field knife about 5 years ago when I lost the sheath. Since then it has become a kitchen knife and has been used daily. It's been through the dishwasher literally hundreds of times. It hasn't got a spot of rust on it anywhere and is extremely sharp. Unbelieveable knife for the money.

    Mora Companion

The Mora Companion is a great entry-level bushcraft knife. The quality is outstanding considering the price point. Love the click-fit scabbard. The scandi-grind edge on mine is flawless. There is lots of info online on Mora products. Thanks to HH for a great price. I am very pleased with my purchase !

    Fantastic

Posted by KnifeNinja on 7th May 2014

My Mora has just arrived and I am blown away by the quality for the price you pay. The handle is a nice rubbery-grippy feeling, the blade is nice and shiny and SUPER sharp. When I first opened it and felt the edge, I thought it was blunt. How wrong I was. It's so sharp that it's smooth almost like glass, so you can't feel a toothy edge. But the true sharpness seen becomes apparent. I echo what other reviewers have said about the quality and utility of this blade, and its superiority to other 'budget' fixed-blades like the Hultafors line. But the real star in my experience is the customer service of Heinnie - which is impeccable as always. Everyone knows that the delivery speed from Heinnie is unbelievable. But having ordered this knife, it slipped through the fingers of Royal Mail somewhere along its route and never made its way to me. Heinnie were fast to rectify the situation, and had a replacement shipped out in the next few days! With tracking! Flawless. Thanks to Richard and Olly for all of their help.

    Great knife

I have always liked Mora knives, but this is probably my favorite so far. I believe that this model has a nice long tang (3/4) and it has done every task that I have asked of it perfectly. I also prefer the handle on the companion to the more expensive Bushcraft Force model, It is comfortable in a larger range of holding positions. Perfect knife!

I wouldn't be without my companion

Posted by Phil on 2nd May 2013

Where shall I start, the whole process with HH has been great, fantastic turn around well done guys. As for the knife it's one of the best knives I have worked with stainless blade is faultless and razor sharp! Although I was a little skeptical of the plastic sheath at first it's now grown on me and I wouldn't be without my companion, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Please don't let the price put you off, it's the best money I have ever spent on a knife. Perfect well done.
