MORA 860 Companion Mil Green Fixed Blade 18

This is my first fixed blade and I am very impressed. Everything about it is better than I anticipated. Remember this is a ridiculously low priced knife, and yet I can't see how it could be better. The sheath is solid and locks the knife in securely. The handle is a 'sticky' rubber which gives a confident grip. And the blade! That is far more substantial than I thought. Another superb piece from HH. Can't wait to get out and use.

I've been very impressed with this knife. Beyond shaving sharp right out of the box, durable edge, great edge retention, feels solid and not cheap. And for a tenner you'd be hard pressed to find a knife this god elsewhere. But the rounded spine making it extremely difficult to throw sparks is a massive drawback of this knife that its carbon steel rivals like hultafors have a sharp 90' spine perfect for spark throwing. Also in the hand it does feel noticeably lighter than similar sized knives from rival brands, nice for some I'm sure but I prefer to hold a heavy knife. Overall hard to complain about the knife for the money, but definitely not for everyone. If you want a do everything bushcraft knife, I'd go for a Hultafor OK-4, but if your content using for own striker with your firesteel, then this is a top knife definitely worth considering if your on a tight budget!

I made a vid on YT where I sharpened the knife proper scandi a the knife came out push cut sharp I tested it on a piece of Yew cross grain and some knots and the edge is well supported. Which is not always the case with scandal grinds. Bang for buck 5 star.....

Surprisingly good quality for such an affordable product. Perfect around the garden and for bushcraft tasks. Great for splitting small logs and feathering sticks. It's very sharp too. How did I survive this long without one?

This is insanely sharp without doing anything to it, my first mora & probably not the last. Nice & light with a good fitting sheath, cant go wrong at £9 , it would be rude not too get one.
