Mercury Knives was one of the first cutleries to be founded in Maniago, Italy after the second world war. Italian design and manufacturing techniques are some of the best in the world and their line of pocket knives use olive wood and high grade stainless steel to great affect.
The Mercury Six Use penknife has a sub three inch, non-locking blade (so, yes, it's UK legal carry) plus a screwdriver/bottle opener, can opener, awl, fork and a corkscrew. There is also a key ring attachment for your favourite lanyard. This is a great little pocket knife perfectly suited to your next camping trip or as sturdy reliable EDC.

The main blade may even be better than my sak . I wanted a sak but with a fork and this delivers. As before hh were faultless.
I wanted an alternative to a SAK; this is a good one. The fork is preferable to scissors. The blade is similar to a Pioneer one. The only downside is the bulk & the weight. Seems the same as the expensive MKM Malga 6 except for scales. Bone scales carry too much of a premium over the perfectly good Olive wood.
Anyone whose had a Swiss army knife will find this most familiar. Build quality and specs are familiar. The steel is good, the tools all work great including the can opener, and the fork is a wonderful addition. I bought the olive wood scales, and it's great in the hand and looks beautiful. Highly recommended
Very pleased and pleasantly surprised. It has replaced my SAK Hiker for every day use. I have the Olive wood version and while not perfect it is nothing to complain of. Good robust tool that I can recommend.
