Mercury Knives was one of the first cutleries to be founded in Maniago, Italy after the second world war. Italian design and manufacturing techniques are some of the best in the world and their line of pocket knives use olive wood and high grade stainless steel to great affect.

The Mercury Seven Use penknife has a sub three inch, non-locking blade (so, yes, it's UK legal carry) plus a screwdriver/bottle opener, scissors, can opener, awl, fork and a corkscrew. There is also a key ring attachment for your favourite lanyard. This is a great little pocket knife perfectly suited to your next camping trip or as sturdy reliable EDC.

It is available with an olive wood or stag handle.

    Mercury seven use stag

Posted by Derby 58 on 28th Oct 2020

This exceeded my expectations considering the price. The handle is genuine stag ( as it says on the box). Usually handles described as stag turn out to be bone. All the tools are well made and centre nicely. If you use the fork for eating , make sure the oil used for the pivots is edible. Victorinox make such an oil for their Saks.

    Excellent variation on the SAK

Posted by Carl on 13th Dec 2019

I bought two of these. One stag, and one in Olive wood. I love them both! Both have positive locking on all utensils, with no side play. The blade is sharp straight out of the box and finished to a high standard. The scissors are similar to the ones on the SAK, and work well. The bottle opener is one of the best i`ve seen of it`s type. I must admit i bought the Mercury for the fact it had a fork, which is unusual. I can certainly imagine using it on the seafront tucking in to a tray of chips and curry sauce! I probably like the stag version a bit more than the wood version only because stag sided SAK style knives are a rare beast. The olive wood looks beautiful too. All in all i thoroughly recommend these, as they make a nice variation on the SAK theme. They are very well made useful companions, and,.... They have a fork!!!
