The MecArmy PS14 is a pocket EDC flashlight which is equipped with two LEDs with different colour temperatures; one cool white and one neutral white. When combined the flashlight delivers a clean, smooth 1200 lumen beam. When selected individually the cool white beam has a maximum output of 1000 lumens whilst the neutral white has a maximum output of 850 lumens. The cool setting is great for photography as it has no colour, the neutral warmer beam is better for outdoor use. Warm light will penetrate more successfully into rain and fog.
The bang up to date Cree XPL-HD LEDs are both capable of four lighting modes and a strobe. Lower lighting outputs allow close to work such as map reading whilst the strobe can be useful in an emergency situation.
The PS14 has a Titanium body and Aluminium bezel and pocket clip. It is a solidly built bit of kit perfectly suited to pocket or pack storage and is waterproof even when submersed to two metres.
The battery is a rechargeable 14500 which will recharge via a USB connector (both supplied). An efficient and convenient way to never be out of charge. It will also run off standard AAs.
