Lovely EDC
What a lovely slim EDC, the engraving on the scales gives it a none slip grip. No play in the joint sharp out of the box but a couple of minutes on the strop brought it up to speck. Fantastic service from the guys at Heinnie as always.

MecArmy have quickly developed a strong reputation at Heinnie Haynes® for offering products of great quality at very reasonable price points. Like so many products coming out of their factory, the MecArmy EK3R Stonewashed folding knife is a very fine example of their work.
This UK-friendly carry has a non-locking blade in Sandvik 12C27 staniless steel. The blade measures 6.75cm, and we very much like the way that the flat ground blade is slightly upswept with a drop point. It opens with no stop, and in the hand, the blade sits well forward, proud of the first finger. It doesn’t quite open with one hand, but the blade cutout give good purchase for a firm handgrip. At 2.3mm thick, the blade has a feeling of solidity.
The handle is of stainless steel, the two sides of which are hex-bolted together. This version of the knife is laser-etched with a skull design, with the image repeated on each side. The laser process has given a deep brown colour to the image, and a grippy, grainy feel to the scales. The laser has etched the scale bolts, but not the pocket clip or its bolts which retain their crisp, contrasting steel finish.
The stainless pocket clip is designed for tip down, right side carry.
