I like this bag I've owned it twice! I don't know why I sold my first one but I regretted it so got another. Pretty much the perfect bag, can be used as weekend bag, laptop bag, camera bag pretty much what ever you want bag. Being able to swing it in front of you and access any pocket it extremely useful, and each pocket has great organisation built in. Top bag suitable for all situation!

Best bag I have owned !

Posted by Sam on 9th Aug 2013

This bag, along with other Maxpedition products is made to perfection. I have trialed this at work and some light walking and has proven to be very comfortable, spacious and just amazing in all fairness. It has enough space to carry my laptop, tablet PC, gloves, 2 water bottles and other general day to day items. With all of the weight from my belongings the bag is just as comfortable to wear as it was when it had nothing in it. There are many little features with the bag that makes the bag a perfect one for EDC and other things such as walking, hiking and maybe things such as fishing trips. Many of the features include anti theft straps for the zips, buckles internally and externally, Velcro to attach morale patches and organizers and the material seems to be fairly resistant to water as the bag was dry with a shake after being in a light shower. Great service and packing from Heinnie Haynes as usual 5* all around and thanks for the Morale Patch ;) I'll be back soon ;)

      Good for urban environment

Posted by Bairam on 18th Sep 2012

Great design. Right size for small things for your trip, water, some ammo, gloves etc. However WHY WHY did they use so many strings and ropes and WHY to not have normal zippers, but instead to have pieces of ropes tied? - Try to go through bushes or forest - it catches every single branch. Really somebody should talk to the manufacturer.

Awesome bag for everyday and even travel

Posted by T Robertson on 26th Sep 2011

I purchased this bag for my daysack while traveling over the last 2 months in Aus, Fiji and Nz backpacking, having the Sitka was perfect for hand luggage on flights while also complementing my pack perfectly, the Camelbak compartment was perfect for storage of documents ie passport & flight information while the main compartment easily held my DSLR, combined with the ability to swing the bag onto your front made it ideal for shooting pictures while being able to discreetly travel with my camera gear. The construction of the bag is 2nd to none and with a few mild showers the inside of the bag remained dry. An awesome EDC bag and well worth the money !

      alot in a small package

Posted by ANDREW on 24th Mar 2011

Once again excellent service from hh team! Got this pack as an alternative for when my camelbak talon is too big, same great quality as you would expect from maxpedition! All in all I feel this pack will work well and great for all those edc essentials.

      Parent bag.

Posted by Derren on 17th Nov 2010

I use this as my EDC, and it's packed with everything to keep 3 small kids fed, watered, safe and happy. Again, keep the weight down and it's very comfortable. The only gripe I have is that the chest strap is too small for the larger gentleman (about a 47" chest, or more), but tucked out of the way, I never use it and don't notice it. An excellent man bag and EDC.

      Sitka black

Posted by Mark Jamil on 30th Jul 2010

Brand new these bags must have taken a deep breath, once opened stuff your hands inside & fill out the corners & spaces, sitka is designed for horizontal use when you swivel it to your front, now notice how the compartments are ppintin up.so when you pack with gear or documents with Sitka upright, put it in sideways so it's not all pointing east when you venture through it, just remember to screw the cap on ya water bottle tight if you use the flask compartment.

      Absolutely great for EDC

Posted by Dennis Jorgensen on 13th Apr 2010

But dont get it too heavy, or it will be unpleasant to carry. For small hikes or everyday bag, getting in and out of buses and trains, biking its REALLY nice to be able to sling it around and get to your stuff or sit down and not having to take it of. Great while on a bike too. The small EDC pouch fits great in the larger front pocket.
