      It easy to forget just how robust & strong these products are. Maxpidition is simply many many levels above the average high-street comparable product. Place your water bottle within, strap it to your hip or pack, and you have nothing to worry about, as these products are as strong as you can buy. As others have said ... it could do with a simple lower attachment point, and the top flap could be a bit longer (to reach over when a bottle is within). As for being a bit loose' (with a bottle inserted), IMHO this is mitigated by the shock-cord closer around the rim, so perhaps can be dismissed. All in all, when strapped to hip or pack, you really can relax and not have to fear loosing your water-bottle.

      At last I have the answer to having to reach behind me to try and get my water bottle out of side pockets on a rucksacks. This beauty fastens to my shoulder strap and hangs by the side of my chest within easy reach. I can also put it on my belt. Built to last and worth every penny. Thanks HH for the brilliant service!

      Got this to store a Maxpedition/Nalgene on the side of my Lunada. Versatile, but the concept has some disadvantages. The pouch is missing a lower attachmentpoint, to keep it from flapping around. However this can be made quite easily. I think for a Maxpedition/Nalgene it is a poor fit. Quite a loose fit and had the velcro-lid been just an inch longer you would have been able to close it properly with the bottle inserted. Apart from that, the quality is very good. Fast delivery from HH.

      I wear this on my police duty belt and use it as a dump pouch for evidence or to store a Sigg Bottle. When folded this is very small (think a clenched fist) and low profile. It can be hung from a 2" belt by the opening at the rear but I stands a bit proud. I prefer the slikclip right at the top which keeps the pouch low on the belt. Bombproof and brilliant.
