I'm into bushcraft, and this is perfect. It allows me to store tinder and kindling I collect along the way. I also use it as a sitting/ kneeling mat I can fit a Fede rabbits inside too The thigh strap is adequate but my 7 year old daughter uses it as a belt It is heavy duty and I abuse mine and there is very little sign of wear and tear or discolouration
This is the largest of the three by Maxpedition, (I can't imagine why you would want one of the smaller versions ) the original Rollypoly bags were meant to carry empty Mags/Clips etc, but an over sized pocket is still just an over sized pocket, so its useful as a general purpose utility pouch, If you harvest from your environment (any) this is more than useful, Bolt one on to your belt (works well with Thermite or Proteus) or on to the side of a back pack, Well worth the money,
I can't fault this product, yes its the biggest of the lot but it folds down nicely and sits nicely on my belt. It opens out into a monster. I don't use mine for game but rather for forraged food while camping and other bits and pieces. I even had it on my belt once and used it out shopping to hand on to a few bits while I shipped everything else into the car. The quality is perfect and it wont let you down
