The FR-1 Pouch design evolved from a first aid kit bag with added versatility. It can be used as a general purpose organizational pouch or even a specialized medical pouch. Both front and back halves have layered pockets topped with a wide array of elastic loops, essential for keeping contents in place. The full zipper clamshell opening can be fine tuned to various angles using a paracord adjuster. Last but not least, the FR-1 has a Torch-Lair in front with bungee cord compression. Note: First aid supplies shown in photo are not included.

1000-Denier water and abrasion resistant light-weight ballistic nylon fabric

Dupont Teflon fabric protector for grime resistance and easy maintenance

YKK high strength zippers and zipper tracks

Triple polyurethane coated for water resistance

High tensile strength nylon webbing

High tensile strength composite nylon thread (stronger than ordinary industry standard nylon thread)

Internal seams taped and finished

Paracord zipper pulls

Stress points double stitched, Bartacked or "Box-and-X" stitched for added strength

Perfect FAK pouch!

Bought this to use as a FAK and is proving to be a perfect design. Fits underneath the admin pouch of my Hazard 4 Switchback using 5 inch tac ties and with the adjustable retaining system I can set the FR-1 to open in the same way as the admin pouch at 90 degrees. Perfect! The FR-1 holds a huge amount of medical kit and I still have room to fit more essentials making this useful for and does serve more than 1 individuals needs and also as my FAK evolves. Very solid construction, water resistant, strong zips and excellent organisation throughout the pouch also making this intuitive to setup and use. Delivery from HH was super fast and I was kept up to date on the status of delivery.

Purchased this product for basic first aid items, the item is sturdy and will clearly last a life time, the dimensions are perfect, making it compact to slip in the side pocket of a backpack, but offering enough space to fill with little bits and bobs. This is the firt time I have ordered from Heinnie Haynes, I must say the service is exceptional. Ordered the product yesterday about 5pm and it arrived this morning using standard delivery!! Excellent service and product.

This little pack is fantastic. I don't believe in first aid much. If it's serious enough to warrant medical attention then a little first aid kit ain't gonna help. If it ain't that serious just wash it clean! It is however awesome for packing a wash kit, slingshot bands, food bars, headlamp and all your other little nit bits into. And the paracord restriction on the clam shell opening is an idea ALL clamshell bags should have!!

Holds an AWESOME amount of kit

I use this as a first aid kit holder, and it can hold everything I want plus more. Everything from shears, foil blankets and ice packs get swallowed up by this thing, but in such a way that they are always to hand when need. With extra attachment points and the ability to add a shoulder strap, this can be used as a small day bag. All in all, great as a first aid pouch, but equally good as a large travel organiser or a small day bag.
