The Maserin Gourmet is an ultra sharp and resilient linerlocking knife with quality in abundance. The 4116 stainless steel and the streamlined form effectively make it a folding chefs knife, hence the name "Gourmet".
The blade is unbelievably sharp from the box and is large enough at 10cm to tackle many jobs a smaller blade could not handle such as carving meat and large vegetables. It has steel liners and, in this version, black Burl Wood scales with a dyed black wood backspine. The blade has an elongated tang to enable one handed opening. It is supplied with an Italian leather storage pouch.
