Manly Wasp S90V

A nice knife. Got the toxic green so I can see it easily. The handle has a grippy texture and you can grip the blade top and bottom with thumb and index finger. The choil is good to stop unwanted folding. It hasn't had any heavy use yet but should cope fine and is sharp. It feels light in the hand and the clip is a nice feature. The clip curve fits with my third finger. Good to have the Allen keys included so I could swap the clip over easily. Fast delivery from HH.

I’m a Materials Engineer by education (not career) and love good steel; however the general price of S90V knives is beyond what I’m prepared to spend; so finding one at this price is incredible. I’ve bought a few and did have one break a third of the way along the central spring steel; with no impact or anything. That steel had also corroded. Plus I’ve had a clip snap. It was replaced by the distributor. So it’s all about the blade; the G10 handle is fine and functional but that blade is incredible. Do look after it and you’ve got one of the best U.K. legal pocket knives on the market. Manly needs to seriously up its customer service game though; it’s now non existent.

Brilliant little EDC knife. I went for the red and black and it looks really well, the scales are nice and grippy too. I like the clip, nice deep carry and does the job well whilst being discreet. Nice solid back spring too, the 4 stops maybe a bit annoying for some people but I don’t mind it. The knife comes razor sharpe out the box with two Allen keys and a warranty card. All in all, brilliant little EDC slip joint.

Really nice uk friendly pocket knife, high quality S90v blade and nice grip to scale material. Super staged stops on the knife opening with the back spring providing very good tension in use. And to stop any accidents with it potentially closing on you being a non locking knife

I bought this in red. Its looks and feels lovely and the steel is amazing in sharpness (out of the box) and edge retention. The grip is firm due to the sandpapery texture. The one problem I have is that the action is extremely stiff and while good for not closing easily in use, makes it a little dangerous to open and close. Oiling the hinge hasn't improved it any. Ive fitted a Kwik thumb stud to alleviate this somewhat but still much to stiff for my liking hence the removal of one star. Love the edge though.

As a legal carry slip joint and S90V, this knife is awesome. Having bought one, I went back and bought a second one. Great knife and incredibly sharp out of the box....and at a fab price point.
