The Manly Patriot is the fixed blade brother of the successful Manly Comrade folding knife. With almost identical dimensions, the Manly Patriot is therefore the perfect choice as a compact and leading companion as a handy hunting and outdoors knife.

The lightly brushed flat ground blade is made using D2 carbon steel with a full tang construction, giving great strength to the knife. The handle scales are G10 with two holes, one where the blade starts and one at the end which is ideally suited to accommodate a lanyard of your choice. There is a choice of either orange or green.

It is supplied with Kydex belt sheath.

    Manley Patriot D2 G10

Posted by John Macindoe on 19th Feb 2022

Having tried my son's knife whilst working in the garden, I just had to get one for myself. The length, balance and sharpness was fantastic and just right for pretty much all tasks. I have always carried a knife because of my work outside. I've tried quite a few different ones up until now, but I won't need to look anymore, sorted !!

    Excellent value

For the money this is an excellent blade. It came with a razor sharp edge and it's easy to maintain. Fit and finish is good, it feels good in the hand. As already mentioned the only negative is the hole placement on the sheath which isn't very well thought-out

    Great.

Absolutely fantastic blade for the price, sharp out of the box. Only thing I can criticise is the sheath, a little more thought in hole placement could have made it multi carry. Bought a cheap leather sheath off eBay£12 and works great for me.

    Deer prep sorted

Posted by Ben on 22nd Mar 2020

Used many various knives over the years for meat prep. This is perfect. Skinned and jointed 5 muntjac other day. Could of done another 5 without a strop or touch up. If you know your tools you will love it. Bought this strictly for meat prep as fine angle but sure it could handle anything. The quality v price is incredible.

    Excellent... especially for the money.

There are a few details that make you know it's not the build of knives for three to four hundred GBP, but that would be nit picking and they are purely cosmetic, but at £45... who cares? I'd rather have three or four of these. I like the geometry and the fit and finish. I *really* like it, much more than a lot of knives I have that cost ten times as much. A very good slicer out-of-the-box, despite it having a microscopic 'wire/rolled' edge (that wouldn't strop out or break off in end-grain). It wasn't easy to see with a microscope, but was there none the less. These things happen, I've had a rolled edge on more than one Cold Steel (sorry Lynn) and even a $600 Miller Brothers. Removed this one with a medium, then black Arkansas, and it was fine, and functional (just not perfect under a microscope). Used a Tormek the following day to make the new bevel gorgeous, and it is scary sharp. Still is, and I've used it for EVERYTHING this week. Have two more on order, so I can afford to give this away to the next person that admires it (spread a little happiness). It really is a good slicer, and would be perfect for dressing deer. Would be good at most tasks, except chopping large volumes of firewood (but that's what your axe is for). Fill your boots (*after* I get my two on back order).
