A poor quality knife that was a big disappointment. Grip is awful and so slippery and the scabbard is average quality at best...one to avoid here despite the big name!

A very disappointing knife with a very slippery grip and poor ergonomics. Leather scabbard is poor quality and adds to the cheep feel and design of this knife. One to avoid.

Excellent, lightweight small Bowie knife. Arrived very sharp and is really well balanced. Looks the part. Not used yet so can't comment on performance.

A well made knife. Nothing special. Structurally, there are many advantages. A light weight. Fits well in the hand. Worth every penny. I'm glad I have it.

An attractive knife which arrived very sharp, light and comfortable in the hand but I lightly sanded it to give more grip but that's personal taste not a critisism. Nice leather sheath, all-in-all I'd say Boker may have a winner here

I've always been a huge fan of the K-Bar - the ruggedness of the stacked leather is great and once it is worn in it sticks to the hand without getting sweaty. I have, however, refrained from pulling the trigger on one- cost being an issue but also because I have several heavy duty fixed blades of similar size and weight to a K Bar. However, for some time I have been looking for a knife a gap between a Mora and the heavy duty field knife - something more substantial than the Mora but considerably lighter than my current daily yardwork/bushcraft knife (I have a Black Fox Mircata and a custom made Spear Point Sgian Duhb made by Flett Forge in Scotland with a belt sheath made by me! - both are cracking knives especially the high carbon steel of the Flett Forge one, made from WW2 tank trap iron salvaged from the defenses on the Morayshire coast by Matt Flett) The problem with these knives is that for yard work, in our paddocks and large garden, they are simply too heavy and uncomfortable to wear. When I saw Boker had released a Magnum 'k-bar' I knew it would be good value but the real winner was the G10 hilt and knob - this makes it lightweight, incredibly tough and more substantial than a Mora for heavy work. without dragging your trousers down! The balance of the knife doesn't suffer and although I would think twice before using it as a hatchet, it is tough enough for most of the work I can throw at it. All this for £37 quid! As you would expect from Boker, it is very well finished and shaving sharp from the box. Usual 10/10 for Heinne and their superb service - next day delivery as always spot on.
