Magnum Law Enforcement Knife 18

This arrived in a nice lpresentation tin. Bigger than I though but well made and blade is real sharp out of tin. Comes with little Allen star drive incase anything loosens up. Have only given it 4 stars though as think it could do with some sort of grip material on the machined alloy sides. Reason being that each time I've had to either cut a seatbelt or smash a window. There is usually some combination of rain, mud, blood etc involved which tends to make things a bit slimy. Going to be adding a couple of spots of grip tape to the sides which should help. Over all very happy with it and HH service second to none.

I wrote a blinding review of this knive a couple of days after getting it, and though i stand by that review i just felt ther were a couple of things i should add.i have had it nearly 6 months and used it nearly every day and it has neve let me down,but...after a few days hard graft everything was loose,the blade was so loose it just fell open in my pocket, and had yards of play wen open,the belt clip and glass breaker were very loose, but so what,you get the exact tool with the knive 2 sort it out and it takes a minute or 2 and its back in top form.so now i just give it a quick service every few days and its fine.i have only had to touch up the blade once as it takes and hold a fantastic edge realy well.so with a bit of tlc its still a outstanding knive.

Simply put, you will not find a better and more functional and useful knife for this or anywhere near this price. I have been a collector for may years but needed a knife for work and as the only suitable knife I had was a £100 Buck folder. I wanted something a little less expensive to use at work. This was a bit bigger than I expected, but hey for the money this is an amazing knife, truly amazing. The only problem with it is that because it is 1 of a set of 3 I now have to own all 3. But I suppose for £40 you could end up with 1 knife that is of much lesser quality than either of the 3. It really is that good. Not quite razor sharp out the box but the edge is so clean that I felt no need to touch it. When open there is less than no play in the blade, it really doesn't move at all. Really easy and smooth to open and close. Outstanding knife.

This knife is really well built, the belt cutter is sharp enough to cut paracord and clothing which I have tested. The glassbreaker is solid and is made of metal rather than plastic, the blade is strong and sharp and it comes in a nice tin to hold the knife and keep it safe. You also get a little screw driver type thing to remove the thumb studs if you want to or to tighten them which is a lovely addition highly recomend this knife especially for the price. Solid build quality for the price unbeatable with limited lifetime warranty. The knife is solid centered no play, the glass breaker is solid one piece chunk stuck into the frame and unbreakable and the belt cutter is decent enough to cut 550 para cord, car belt and clothing.

How do they do this at such a low price? Fast delivery from HH again. Solid knife and very sharp.

I have knives in my collection that cost up to 4+ times th amount I paid for this knife yet the quality and build of this knife is first class. Having already purchased the more compact sempa fi I hope that HH get the magnum paramedic(orange)and the NYC-FD fir erescue(black)then I will have the whole set.
