Great tool keep two in the car for picnics
I use this most days for work lunch, The knife is robust and sharp, the spoon is the size of a teaspoon. The for is small flat and three pronged. It's good for stabbing to pick something up, but useless for scooping, To eat baked beans say you could stab each individual one or use the spoon
Overall very good for the low price. Positives are that it's well made (for this price point), traditionally styled, very rust resistant and well packaged in a tin, which is handy for carry to ensure it stays clean for food use. Negatives are that it is quite heavy (at least when compared to a spork) and that the fork is quite small. On the whole I like it, when you're out and about it's much better than disposable plastic cutlery.
Very nice,... But too heavy if you want to travel light.. It weighs 197grams.... So it will live in the truck, which doesn't mind a bit of extra weight... And I'll shoulder-bag Europe with a plastic fork and spoon instead this summer ...
This was a great surprise birthday pressie last week from my 9 year old daughter (had to get my wife to buy it for me). HH were great with my wife who has NEVER bought a knife before, I found out after that they helped her set up an account, do the age check etc. and still get the knife deliverd in time! As far as the knife goes, it's a strange little thing but appears to be well made and feels wierdly good in the hand. Not sure how much use this is going to get, but for the price it's going to sit in my glove box for the one time I really need a cutlery set while out and about :-) All in all, a good piece of kit which my daughter chose as she said, 'all the other ones looked the same and this one looked really unusual"!!
I've been using this at recent barbecues, very handy. All well made too, nothing seems loose or fragile. Downsides are that the bottle opener can chip the lip of the bottle, so you have to be a bit careful, and the spoon angles towards your mouth if you're right-handed. Which is less handy if you're left-handed.
I bought this a few months ago for my Sunday lunch box and one of the retention 'folk' broke after used it for a few times. Love the set still but had to use a rubber band to hold them together. HH and Nick the best!
Lunch box, camp use this is very nice. Well made quality product. I like it.
