The Magforce Platypus WP is one of the most adaptable rucksacks to are ever likely to meet! It will adapt to any environment, urban or rural and to the contents you wish to carry. Internally there is one large compartment with a sub laptop sleeve and a surface on to which modular hook and loop pockets/organisers can be attached if required. The whole bag is waterproof and seals at the top opening with a foldable closure. There is also a side zip to access the main compartment too. The back pack straps are detachable so the bag can be carried with the handles instead and there is an enormous amount of space for all your kit which can be accessed quickly.
Externally there are several loops on the bag itself and the straps for the attachement of carabiners to carry tools, hats etc and two large pockets will easily fit a water bottle.
The Platypus is incredibly well made with a hefty 500 Denier waterproof material perfectly suited to the harshest environments. It really is a "bag for life".
