Needs sharpening
Great service from Heinnie as usual. Love the knife overall, the fit and finish is very good. However it is nowhere near sharp enough for the price - Lion Steel need to sort this out.

The LionSteel Bestman 1 Clip Point has all the exceptional qualities one has come to expect from a manufacturer of such class. Plus the design Lion Steel have produced evokes classic forms of the past whilst at the same time creating a knife perfectly suited to the 21st century.
The clip point blade is a bang up to date M390 stainless steel with a nail notch on both sides and a beautifully streamlined clip point shape. This version of the Bestman model has a single blade and a choice of either olive, santos or ebony wood handle scales with stainless liners and a subtly rounded backspine. The bolsters are made using 6AI4V Titanium.

Quality product as always from lion steel.
Beautifully crafted and razor sharp out of the box. The blade is centred and the whole knife feels quality.
It's a great little knife, surprisingly light for the size. Being a non locking knife and needing two hands to open it will make a good travel knife. If it had a pocket clip it would perfect, in fact I plan to drill and tap the bolsters to attach a pocket clip. The out of the box sharpness was the biggest disappointment with this knife, I've had cheap kitchen knifes come sharper than this so it lost a star for that. It really didn't do the m390 steel justice. Having said that being m390 after a quick touch up it is straight razor sharp and I expect it to stay that way for a good while.
