If only LionSteel, those genius Italian knife makers, would turn their hand to a top of the range slip joint, UK legal carry folder...well they have and it is a joy to behold!

The LionSteel Bestman 1 Carbon Fibre has all the exceptional qualities one has come to expect from a manufacturer of such class. Plus the design Lion Steel have produced evokes classic forms of the past whilst at the same time creating a knife perfectly suited to the 21st century.

The clip point blade is a bang up to date M390 stainless steel with a nail notch on both sides and a beautifully streamlined clip point shape. This version of the Bestman model has a single blade and carbon fibre handle scales with stainless liners and a subtly rounded backspine. The bolsters are made using 6AI4V Titanium.

    Won me over

    Posted by #NAME? on 8th Apr 2019

Had some minor fit and finish issues out of the box (exceedingly minor) which had me worried but in truth, using this has completely swayed me, what a gorgeous knife, great action, great noise, feels lovely in the hand, with the materials this is offering, the BM Proper now seems a tad overpriced! -1 point for poor centering and weird bump in the spring where they pinned the liners togethor.

    Great little UK friendly

Posted by Luke on 7th Feb 2019

After carrying this great little knife for nearly a week, I must say I really like it. So much so that I've ordered another with different scales. It seems very well made, as every Lion Steel product I've purchased has been so far. The finish is better than I've seen on more expensive UK friendly knives and my one arrived adequately sharp. Great product, made with up to date materials and an aesthetic of a traditional penknife.
