Leatherman Bit Driver Extender

Really need this. The screw Bit driver on the wave is too sort. This is an elegant solution. Slips neatly into the waves bit driver

This is good at what it does but for what it is it could be a lot cheaper. It doesn’t have a magnet either and that’s a shame. But the build quality is good and it holds the leatherman slim bits very well.

To overcome bit stuck in extension put small piece of thin cardboard in bit hole,overcomes the problem.

Fantastic delivery from HH as usual, but very disappointed with bit driver extender. Arrived day after I ordered and I quickly unwrapped and put bit from Wave in extender. Took me an hour to get it out using various thin nose pliers, screwdrivers and even Wave pliers, getting more and more frustrated and hot & bothered. The only way to remove bits easily is to put in vice on bench which seems to defeat the object of a multi tool if you have to have a bench vice with you as well !!!! Seems it is retaining ring clip inside that crosses over at ends which jams on groove in bits, poor design, they may as well have made it magnetic.

If your Leatherman is a tool rather than a trophy (quick test - throw it on the pavement. No? Trophy). The extension allows the use of the bits as a small screwdriver handle and gives enough reach when attached to allow the Leatherman to be a serious tool. Well worth the money.

Can't go wrong with this. Works brilliantly, as it extends the reach and therefore the use of the Leatherman.
