Add to BasketI have just purchased a couple of the smallest sizes of these blades and must say that I am impressed with the quality for the price. The steel seems to be pretty good. I will be removing the secondary grind and honing them. There is plenty of material to play with here. Very pleased. Also must add that the speed with which they were dispatched and delivered was exemplary. Ordered Wednesday and delivered Thursday am. Brilliant!
I usually make my own blades but when I saw the price of these I thought I would give them a try. They are quite good. Plenty of steel on them to allow for regrinding if thats what you like. They keep a good edge and you can hone them to shaving sharp. When it came it was black with a rough scandi grind, it also had a secondary grind which I soon got rid of. This is just my personal preference. These blades will make a very good and useful knife without any alterations. Made out of good knife steel they should last a lifetime. I'm going to order some more. Wish they would do a wharn cliffe blade.
