Over the last few months I've had a few items and hand on heart , one of the best companies I've ever dealt with ! This item at £5.95 is an absolute bargain , all the other sharpeners I've collected over the years can go to the charity shop !
This is a fantastic bit of kit ordered one for my son and one for myself, and really couldn't be more pleased. Tried a variety of knives between us and it's sharpened them all brilliantly. From a Mora eldris to a British m.o.d survival knife and a ka bar earth on sheath knife which are both huge blades for such a little sharpener. With the large notch and the small can't see much if anything this little beast won't put a true edge on. Absolute bargain buy at less than half the price of other retailers and the almost magic delivery speed of henni Haynes as always. Ordered on the 22nd of December at around 2pm they arrived the next day !!! All in all a Top product sold by a Top company 5* s all the way.
I have had several of these and they are well worth having. My only feedback to Lansky would be that the rods are slightly too short (or the clips too small) which means that they sometimes pop out of the clips designed to hold them in place, it can be very frustrating. Still, I would recommend having one in your kit to to keep your sharps sharp with the minimum of effort.
Nothing to add to the preceding statements, except that it not "medium" but "fine". Now I have a pair and will use them, use them, use them....
I have one of these for several months, sharpened everything I have, it cleans up and is easy to use. I have just bought a second one to put with my camping gear.
I've had this small item for some years and it is very useful and effective. For touching an edge and fine honing these ceramic rods are really nice one. My killer portable combo is a Fallkniven DC stone and this one as last step. You will never be disappointed. Now ordering a couple more... just to leave them in my office drawers. Excellent international service from Heinnie.
