Add to BasketIt's quite important to use the ceramic benchstone to get your blade actually sharp. The diamond rods will set the angle of the edge, but it won't be serviceable until you use the benchstone to hone the edge. With that said, the edge isn't nearly as good as you might be able to get from the Lansky universal sharpening system or similar, but I think that's to be expected.
