Coarse and medium grits are great, but the fine and extra fine stones are so soft that if the stones are pushed across the blade as normal it actually cuts the them and shaves them flat. Works OK if the stones are pulled instead, but expected more from Lansky.
Coarse and medium stones are great as you would expect from Lansky. The fine and ultra fine stones though are so soft that if you push them across the blade as normal it just shaves the stones. Found it works OK if you pull them, and got a decent edge, was just surprised how soft they are. .
