The Kunwu X-TAO Titanium is a very solid folder with so many high quality features. The handle is made up of two large blocks of Titanium. The benefits of this material lies in its pure strength but also its aesthetic and tactile qualities. A "slide lock" is incorporated which provides a seamless, smooth and very secure mechanism. There is also a wire pocket clip.
The blade is made from Elmax powder steel which has an innate strength due to a lack of "grain" under a microscope. As a result the edge is capable of extreme sharpness which will last much longer than a standard steel. A blue anodised Titanium thumb stud allows for ambidextrous use and is a nice looking touch.

This is one absolutely beautiful piece of work from a very talented company and designer. The fit and finish are off the charts for the price ( this is the sort of quality you get on £400-£700 pieces the action is the only thing that some people might find a little bit off only for the fact that being it’s a Benchmade style bar lock but much much better the opening feels a little bit soft or sponge like because of the lack of a detent. This however is not something that you should be put off by as if you’ve already handled such a locking mechanism then you should be aware of this. As for everything else faultless is all I can say the milling on the scales is wonderful the blade grind is fantastic and is bang on Center with a very sharp edge SOTB. I would highly recommend you give this one a little look on YouTube and see what is getting said this might help put your mind at ease before you go for one of these fantastic tools. I needed a pocket knife which could do 90% of what fixed blades bushcraft knives do. This one was recommended by Heinnie Haynes. The knife arrived today. It’s one amazing piece of kit. Well built, light and having an exceptional blade. The knife seems to be built to take some abuse. Opening and closing mechanisms are the smoothest I have seen. Highly recommended
