Knife Sheath for a Straight Knife

Good quality sheath made well

Bought for a hand made knife but unfortunately the restraining strap was much to small but luckily it fitted an old butcher knife I have so all good. The sheath it's self is pretty well made and will look good once I've dyed it.

Arrived late which is bad enough, but when I finally got it I couldn’t help but feel the time I waited for this product was wasted. On a good note, the sizings of this product are spot on... but that’s the only good thing about it. The “natural” colour I was expecting to arrived tanned (as the photo showed) but instead I got some god awful pinky/orange colour. The leather feels so artificial and brittle and generally poorly constructed. I guess you do get what you paid for and I knew the quality of the product wasn’t going to be top notch, but this is on another level. Don’t buy!!!

The sheath was exactly what was after. It fits my 32 year old Bowie style knife perfectly, which has a 16cm blade. The belt loop is a good size and the fastener holds the knife securely. The leather soon softens when manipulated. Really happy at that price.

Very well made, extraordinary for the price.

I use the xs for the Ontario 3 & 4 inch paring knives but use shock cord instead of the strap, the medium for the Ontario 6 inch boning knife & the large for the 7 inch butcher which fits perfectly. The smaller sizes are like the photo one piece folded riveted leather but the large one is two piece with a good welt well stitched but no rivets. The retaining strap is near to the top. Nice thick & well finished leather that takes on a nice patina with Kiwi dark tan polish. All offer excellent value for money. Tony.

A little Albion leather balm to make the leather supple and a thin layer of leather glued to the back of the retaining strap for a secure fit and it w perfect fit for one of my older John Norwill knives.You won't get better at this price anywhere.
