The Kizer Wharning Grey Vortex Micarta combines distinctive modern styling with the uncompromising practicality of a classic Wharncliffe blade. Its striking grey PVD-coated N690 stainless steel blade features a straight cutting edge that delivers consistent pressure from heel to tip, making it particularly effective for controlled slicing, precision work and everyday cutting tasks. Enhanced with cobalt, N690 offers an excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance and straightforward maintenance, ensuring dependable performance whether you're tackling jobs around the house or heading outdoors. The handsome Grey Vortex Micarta handle gives the knife a sleek, understated appearance, with a textured surface that provides a secure, comfortable grip even during more demanding tasks.
The Wharning is every bit as satisfying to operate as it is to admire, thanks to Kizer's upgraded Button Liner Lock™, which combines smooth, rapid deployment with effortless closing and secure blade lock-up during use. Thoughtful ergonomics are evident throughout, with a carefully shaped finger groove, forward choil and strategically positioned spine jimping allowing you to adjust your grip for greater control and precision. The result is a knife that feels reassuringly secure in hand, whether you're making delicate cuts or putting its robust blade to work. With its beautifully coordinated grey finish, clean blade geometry and wonderfully tactile action, the Kizer Wharning is a distinctive and highly capable everyday companion that proves practical tools needn't be ordinary.
