Description

The Kizer Mini Bulldog in Purple Aluminium is Dirk Pinkerton’s stout little folder given a bold splash of colour. Its broad Sheepsfoot blade is crafted from Nitro-V steel, offering a fine balance of edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance – ideal for a knife that sees regular pocket use. The blade deploys smoothly with the flipper tab and is held securely by a liner lock.

The handle is lightweight purple anodised aluminium, contoured for comfort and finished with a deep carry pocket clip for discreet, easy carry. Compact but solid in the hand, the Mini Bulldog delivers Pinkerton’s trademark practicality with a touch of playful style.

What an absolute lovely little knife! Top quality from Kizer as always. Lovely purple aluminium scales add so much personality to the knife and it’s finished with a great steel. Nitro V! Shout out to the Heinnie team as always, for the great service and fast shipping! Blessings and Love

    My favourite small knife

Posted by Bill Richards on 22nd Sep 2025

I love the look of this knife and find its size to be perfect for me, the colour is a rich purple with a black blade (I normally prefer natural metal but it suits this knife) The lock mechanism is really intuitive and fidget friendly, the blade itself is easy to keep razor sharp and holds its edge for a good amount of time. | Of all my knives this is the one I reach for first, which really says it all

Fantastic value pocket and fidget friendly knife

Posted by Bill R on 17th Sep 2025

I have gained a few knives over the years, normally my first thought is how will I use the knife as it is a tool for a task, this knife has changed how I feel about some knives, it is sleek and comfortable to hold and very fidget friendly in either hand, normally I may fidget with a knife for a day or two to get used to how it opens and just take off a bit if the new stiffness, since I got this knife I find I am often picking it up and fidgeting with it, it is a slick slow roll open or a quick flick to open, or a little lift and a flick of the wrist to open, the lock is simply a joy to use and easy to release when I want. I am a firm button lock fan as I found most crossbar locks awkward, this is the exact opposite it feels properly designed to do a job. The blade is again not my usual as I prefer natural metal blades, but the black with the purple of the scales looks special, it takes a really fine edge and seems to hold it pretty well too, This all makes for a knife that will never be far from my hand, and while I will try not to damage its finish it does get used where a slim sharp blade is called for, nothing about it feels cheap or poorly designed, in fact the exact opposite is true and it simply feels right!
