    Perfect little camping knife. Ideal for food prep and small camp duties. Nice and sharp straight out of the box and blade made from one of my favourite knife steels - CPM 3V.

    That Leather Sheath...?

    So, I contacted Kizer and ordered the kydex sheath... Took a few weeks to arrive, but $10 well spent! Black Carbon Fibre finish, tight fit and fires off the thumb ramp! Great After Sales Service from Kizer!

    I contacted Kizer directly via service@kizercutlery.com , if you're unhappy with the bonded leather sheath you can order a Kydex sheath from Kizer for $10 which includes the shipping. The Kydex sheath has a carbon fibre pattern.

    The good: You're getting a nice piece of 3V steel, coated to prevent corrosion, and it's at a good price. The PEI handle scales offer excellent traction, I was very surprised by how good. Overall the knife fits my large (glove size) hand very nicely and I look forward to using it. The adequate: The sheath, I can close the press stud to hold the knife in the sheath, but the 'leather' the sheath is made from is barely adequate. Kydex would have been a better option. I'll give this five stars for the knife alone.

    Excellent knife and a very usable mini version of an iconic design.. shame about the sheath - poorly designed with fastener placement problems! ..but, worth a new sheath!
