The Kershaw Cinder is small enough to attach to your keychain, yet it’s still capable of doing most of the tasks you carry a knife for. From opening packages to breaking down boxes, the Cinder’s got you covered. What’s more, you know the Cinder is built for performance. For one thing, it’s designed by Rick Hinderer, well known for the real-world practicality of his knife designs. For another, it’s precision manufactured by Kershaw, known for top-notch fit and finish.
The blade is just 1.4 inches long, but because of the upswept tip, it offers plenty of useful cutting edge. On a knife this small, creating a solid grip is tough. Rick designed the grip so that your hand comes forward past the pivot point, enabling a full three-finger grip on this smaller knife. The handle is textured glass-filled nylon to enhance grip even more; the blade has a stonewashed finish that looks great and hides scratches.
The secure locking liner features cutout embellishments revealed by the design of the handle scale. This design also makes it easier to open this manual-opening blade and easier to unlock the liner lock to close it. The large lanyard hole makes attaching the Cinder to your key chain or pack simple.
And you might have noticed the bottle opener built into the back end. Yeah, we thought you did. It’s plenty sturdy and ready to go to work when you are.

Great little box opener, handy.
Here we go smaller than you think, but its for a keychain.blade width and size.managable, scales poor, not built for heft but useful, bottle opener bit of a gimmick and yep it's going to need sharpening.
I purchased 5 of these little knives for family members, gifts for Birthdays. For the price I wasn't expecting anything special, but I was pleasantly surprised. These tiny little folding pocket knives are great and go beyond what the price may suggest. Nice and sharp and fits the hand really well considering the tiny proportions. It is clear a good amount of thought has gone into the size and layout. Very happy. Will get another couple just to have in for gifts and a couple for my EDC.
This is one of the best pocket knives I have ever own super lightweight, easy to open and very well made ! This is my second kershaw knife and I can’t believe the quality for such a reasonable price !
Razor sharp. Fits well on key ring. Good strong bottle opener as well.
Only issue is they could have done something with the lanyard maybe a m4 hex and a screwdriver head would have been a 5/5 then.
This is an amazing knife. I think it looks funky and fantastic. t's really thoughtfully designed by Hinderer. Useful to be able to open and close it one handed (RH folks only, I guess). I found that helpful while doing some craft work because I had to keep hold of the work piece in my left hand, grabbed my Cinder and opened it up with my right hand. The handle has been designed to be long enough to hold well in the hand for such a small knife. I fitted a paracord lanyard to it, allowing the little finger some purchase too, and handling became even better. I like the fact that you can get your thumb on the spine for fine movements, and the angles are all well thought out for that kind of work. I've heard some people criticise the metal, but frankly, this is a small light duty knife and the steel looks great and works really well, so I don't think that's a problem at all. Very pleased with my purchase and HH was excellent as usual. Happy to have it in my collection.
Handy keychain knife, very sharp out of the packet & the bottle opener comes in handy too.
