The TDI Knife was designed by John Benner, a former Police Lieutenant, Drug Task Force Coordinator, and SWAT Team Tactical Field Commander, Benner has more than 30 years' experience in the law enforcement field. He has developed courses for raid tactics, personal protection tactics and knife programs that are currently taught to law enforcement, military and civilian groups. Designed by an officer with officers in mind, the TDI Knife is easily mounted on an officer's pant belt and concealed behind the various gear worn on his duty belt.
It is made with a non-reflective black powder coated AUS 8 stainless steel blade that features the TDI logo, and a textured Zytel handle. Paired with the ambidextrous hard plastic sheath the total unit weighs only 0.26 lb.

Add to BasketI have this as a collector's piece. Very well made and an assuringly good click when sheathing. Easy deployment and a really comfortable and natural grip. I would not wear this openly as an enforcement officer as it is too easy to steal. As a concealed carry (totally illegal in the UK) it is perfect. This is one that has to be kept at home, I'm afraid. There is no legal justification to be carrying this wee beastie.
Well made and (surprisingly) worth the money. A reassuring click when sheathing it. I don't understand why a police officer would want to carry one of these though. It is far too easy for an aggressor to grab hold of it and take control. For me it's just a collector's item. There is no way this one could be carried in the UK with lawful reason.
A small knife that cuts big, I've been looking at Getting one of these for quite and ordered one . And i am not disappointed. well made sharp enough straight out of the box it might be small but don't be put off . it's very capable. in fact i am thinking of getting a second one with a serrated blade . Overall very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this as a s*f d*e tool but out on a shoot last weekend near Aviemore I tried it on a stag and it skins fine. Its not a one trick pony.

That is my initial review below under my initials J D. In four years of almost daily use, I haven't changed my mind about this great little knife. So good that I just had to get the other versions of the TDI: the tiny half ounce LDK 1.75" blade, the Ankle 3.5" , and the much heavier Large TDI 3.625". I have not been disappointed. Great blades and great service from Heinnie.
An excellent little back up knife. Bought this to go on my battle belt as a last ditch knife for when primary or secondary weapons have run dry etc... Quick to draw and comes out in the hand, an excellent little knife. Can't see the kydex sheath lasting long though.They never do. Overall a good knife
