Working out of Palaçoulo in Portugal the father and son team of Jose da Cruz create knives of outstanding quality and practicality. They are notable by the use of a heavyweight brass ring lock that secures the blade in the open position, no puny stainless or aluminium that loosens over time and becomes less effective.
The Jose da Cruz Merendeira Carbon features a compact, streamlined blade made from Carbon steel. It is extremely sharp out of the box and makes for a highly versatile and handy blade. It is available with either an Oak or Mutenye wood handle with a lined lanyard hole.
