Incredible Value
I didn’t want to leave a review until I had actually used this knife for what it was intended for so without a camping trip planned for any time soon I went out in the garden and did a bit of whittling on a small branch from a tree I trimmed last year and was really impressed with the way this thing eats through wood. It hacks off smaller branches and makes feather stick as well as any knife could be expected to with a decent amount of control for both so I think this is a great all-rounder. The fit and finish on the blade and handle are very good, especially in this price range and the edge retention, although I haven’t really put it through its paces yet, looks to be good also. The fire steel is a great addition with the branding on the matching handle and the sheath is a beautifully crafted object that will 100% outlive us all if looked after and might actually be my favourite bit. If you want a general purpose bushcraft knife I would highly recommend this.
